Paul, RE:"NO EVIDENCE OF INTEL saying ANYTHING about their 0.13 micron program." I really don't want to hear that. I was quite comforted by the idea Intel will make .13u Coppermines... 1. The die is cheap. 2. The Mhz ain't too bad, nice mid speed chip. 3. Great cache design, benchmarks well on right benchmarks, 4. Makes a nice hedge in case RAMBUS drags down Willy for a while. Which it will. 5. Like I've said...probably kills Timna...a good thing. 6. Cuts costs on X-box chips Doesn't sound like there is much of a question whether or not Intel takes some Coppermines to .13u... DOn't you think this is a good idea. Sure in a perfect Willy world they wouldn't have to maybe but RAMBUS flaws Willy in a manner where taking Coppermine to .13u isn't such a bad idea? Jim PS..try to be civil.
