haqi, we started with a .22 revolver and a Ruger 10/22 carbine. GOt a mini 14 for later on. It's really too loud to enjoy....even with ear protection. What you see on TV and read in print today....make you wonder how long it will be before hell does break loose. My girl is in a private school....the Headmaster is now telling us that we need to think.......differently.....more liberally....He writes about gun control and acceptance of alternative lifestyles on campus and how the kids need to be "accepting" others' behavior.... Time to look for another school. I wonder if he knows the vast majority of parents are conservatives. I don't think so. Shootie
