I don't expect anyone can know how funny that statement is to me. To understand, you'd have to know how much heat I've taken for "playing favorites with the bears".

It's a fact that bulls get suspended far more frequently than bears. I don't know the exact percentages, but off the top of my head, I'd guess that 75% of suspendees are bulls who over-react to criticism of their stocks.

Personally, I have no bias toward bulls or bears. Whether someone is optimistic or pessimistic about the market or any particular company is irrelevant for purposes of my job. But I do feel (and have said in the past) that I feel that bears are under-represented on most boards, and that's also true here.
