Someone else was asking me about CREE and quoted analyst recommendations. Here is my response. ---> Doesn't mean much to me. They still have strong buys on QCOM with a price target of $200. A lot of times they will say 12 month price target then come out three months later and say the same price 12 months out. So what is 12 or 15 months? What you need to do is follow an analyst to see how his past calls are. Frankly, I wish they would rate them. Not only that they should have full disclosure. Like how many shares they own, their firms owns, how long they have followed the stock, how long they have been in the industry, how many calls they have made, how many have been right? All the above should be made mandatory by the sec. and would but the fear of god into them.

Greg

p.s. are you all ganging up on me with CREE questions? <gg> CREE along with host of other stocks could very well end up being yesterday news by the time the market rights itself.
