Lewinsky-Dan - Re: "Another way of saying that a year from now Pentium 4 will still be a low volume, "special edition" processor."

Short Intel if you think that's true.

Re: "Intel didn't move the 486 to .35, did they. A year or so after the Pentium was out the 486 wasn't a "high volume" processor anymore, was it?"

Boy are YOU EVER A BLOW HARD !!

The 80486 was introduced on a 1 micron process in 1989 !.
The Pentium was introduced on a 0.8 micron process in 1993 - and a year later BOTH the Pentium AND the 486 were moved over to a 0.6 micron process, yielding 100 MHz 80486DX4's.

The 0.35 micron process - the THIRD PROCESS used for the Pentium - wasn't introduced until 1996 !!

Blow-Hard Dan Blows it AGAIN !!

Keep showing us what a BLOW HARD FOOL YOU ARE, Lewinsky-Dan ! You make Monica look like a sheer genius !

Re: "the initial performance of Pentium 4 must have been pretty depressing for Intel. Do you think they have a prayer of fixing it? "

Short Intel if you think it's so poor.

Paul
