Sympatico business page has headline "Debeers makes 552 million offer for Ashton" but when I click the headline, I don't get the story. Checked Yahoo Australia thread but no press release there. Nothing on Stockwatch. Maybe by market open tomorrow, we'll have some details. Frank, any thoughts on this re the Canadian diamond play? IN particular on WSP but also any implications for all Canadian juniors in the DMM, ABZ, WSP area? According to Australian records, Ashton is only making 4 cents a share profit. Not exactly a wild amount of money given that a company like BNN is making 3.65 a share. is DeBeers buying future Canadian production or wanting a base outside Africa?
