You state:

When I was a little kid we used to play the game where one person would whsiper something into the ears of the player next to him and he in turn would pass on what he had heard to the next person and so forth. By the time it got to the last person the whole thing was completely different than what the first person had started. It was kind of fun game.

Now it seems with stocks it is the same thing. Case and point LSI, where I have read in a number of places that LSI Logic warned about profits and that is why the stock went down!

Someone should really make a movie out of CNBC and the so called analysts.
