If VLNC has or prospectively does business with ALA, they could benefit at the margin from the shift to lower end cell phones. Phillips and Alcatel have been taking share from ERICY. NOK is lowering prices to try to take low end share. On the other hand, it has been suggested on this message board that VLNC is supplying for ALA high end phones. Over the short term at least it likely would be better if they were supplying low end. Without information on product segment or even any "official" confirmation that they have material order flow with ALA, as usual, VLNC longs must sit on their hands and agonize in the dark as the stock price falls more.
