  BMC Software Extends Reseller Agreement With Sun Microsystems
  HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 2000-- In an effort to offer more e-businesses powerful, availability-focused software, BMC Software Inc. (Nasdaq:BMCS - news), the leading provider of e-business systems management software, is extending its reseller agreement with Sun Microsystems (Nasdaq:SUNW - news), whereby Sun Professional Services will immediately begin reselling BMC Software's INCONTROL(TM) and PATROL® Enterprise Manager solutions.
