I'm not really a gorilla-gamer, though obviously many of it principles are applicable to any investment analysis. I'm wondering what the cognoscenti think about GBLX, one of Gilder's favorites, as a possible gorilla.

Unless I'm missing something, it will be able to soon supply mega-gobs of fiberoptic bandwidth to users who need secure transmissions, i.e., governments, multi-national financial entities and scientific institutions, including corporations.

I can't think of any other means of providing super-fast, super-secure data traffic internationally except through the lines that GBLX will offer. And it's a beat-up stock right now even though its management (which has had its problems) has done its job of laying out the lines competently and on-time. It looks quite attractive as a long term holding at current prices.

What do the g-gamers think?
