NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Global TeleMedia International (OTC Bulletin Board: GTMI) (http://www.GTMI.com) announced that BentleyTel.com Australia bentleytel.com and Ericsson (Nasdaq: ERICY) ericsson.com working together have just successfully completed a 2 week Beta Testing of its "phone-phone" and "PC-phone" Internet Telephony product utilizing its existing customer base. The Company reported customer response has been very positive and customers were happy with the quality of the product and most stated they would look to utilizing the high-quality service based on anticipated savings in long distance phone charges.
Ericsson Australia, the Principal Sponsor of ISPCON will be highlighting the BentleyTel.com ITSP product during the ISPCON. In addition, BentleyTel.com (Aust) managing Director Felino Molina will be a keynote speaker on the opening day of the conference presenting a technical paper entitled "A case study of Voice over IP Implementation -- Australia wide" which is already attracting much interest.

The VoIP network between Darwin, Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne will be operational by the official product launch at ISPCON -- people visiting BentleyTel.com Booth 16 will be able to trial the product and see its quality for themselves. The full national VoIP network is on target for completion September 1, with ISPs being able to access the wholesale services from October 1st. Beta trials for the wholesale ITSP product will be conducted throughout September.
