Dan,

You just did what most value investors have done in
during the past five years which is bail out of the
techs way too early. You can knock yourself silly
trying to find a reasonable value for any tech. Five
years ago, I looked at DELL, and QCOM for a serious
long term investment. But both of them had P/E ratio
that looked like overblown hype. For that, I am still
working (unlike a few people I know who just cashed
out with a few million in the bank). Live and learn.
