Fred, maybe you can clarify something that worries me.

DISH will soon be offering 2way internet access. Let's say we have a 56k response to the satellite. The response to the satellite is not a problem, in my mind, because it is mostly mouse clicks.

My question is, what is the limit of the baud rate at which internet pages can delivered to the customer? I mean, it seems to me that the spectrum we are allowed to broadcast over is our pipeline. If DISH is successful and a zillion customers sign up, it seems to me that the rate of delivery would drop dramatically. With enough customers it could slow to a crawl and become unusable.

I know this issue must have been thought out by someone. What are the limits we are faced with? We have not been faced with this problem up to now because everyone got the same transmission. With the internet, each customer has their own individual broadcast from the satellite.
