We've had in NYC many examples of the one you've just brought up, in the Board of Ed and Police Force. Prostitution is illegal here so I hope that answers your question.

Here is a better real life story that took place here about 10 years ago. There was a high school chemistry teacher working for the Board of Ed. for close to 30 years who went to the Phillipines over the summer and engaged in man-boy sex. He wrote an article in the editorial section of the NY times arguing on behalf of man-boy love relations. He had said in the article that he respected the laws in this country and had never engaged in such activity here. He argued on behalf of having the laws changed. The NYC Board of ED took this guy out of the classroom on the grounds that "his conduct was unprofessional for a teacher of children." The NY Civil Liberties Union defended the teacher on the grounds that he was entitled to his opinion and that he never broke the law here in the States. Interestingly enough, 90% of the students in the school where he worked(and this was a school for the gifted) including many former students, demonstrated on behalf of this teacher because he was a great teacher and never engaged in even discussions about sexual activity with his students. The resolution was that NYC paid this guy off an extra 3 years salary to get him to retire. He became a College Professor and I think he still works for the State.

That should tell you something about the non judgemental mentality around here.

PS No, I don't support adult/child love relations in any shape or form.
