And to be honest, nobody outside of these threads and a few press geeks really gives a damn. It's getting old listening to my GHz launch is better than your GHz launch. What matters is what they launch out of the fabs and through the channels, and what is accepted by the end user. I don't care if AMD launches a 10GHz if the end user is buying 900MHz. re: "The motivation behind this is transparent, and it is quite apparent that PIII is not ready for 1.1GHz production at this time." First, you are speculating, you don't know. Second and more important, who cares? John
