I wouldn't say that I have insider information. Just that I heard from someone who knows what's going on inside the company and he warned me that there will be bad news for them soon.
That is all I know. The recent rise in the stock is from hype no doubt.

I started watching this company from the info. you had sent me over fax. And I did some research into the company. I have found more companies with claims on the "synthetic liver." The reason that was given to me by the companies were that each company has a different design. But what they all have in common is the use of pig cells for the process. Everything I've found about this company doesn't look good, eventhough it has good intentions on helping people with its technology.

First of all, the use of pig cells to replace or aid humans directly is very controversial. It is one of the key issues discussed in science today; using animal body parts, organs, or cells and transferring them to humans.

Secondly, what may bring more controversy to this company is that they are testing their product in China and other parts of Asia. Well, let's just say that violation of human rights may surface soon. Something that comes to mind is involuntary human experimentation. The patients may not know what the doctors are doing and the doctors will be paid for what the company would like to see as a result. There have been many incidences of human experimentation in Asia for the past hundred years. Large companies used to test Chinese and other Asian men, women, and children with "experimental" drugs and procedures. Almost always, the people don't know what was happening. Comapnies just need guinea pigs. A lot of times, the experiment by these companies create many mishaps and the lives of these people are taken away.

The use of China to test this product may seem good on paper. But when a company needs good solid data to start making a profit, they may sacrifice many lives to please their wallets. I am sure this stock will rise when so called "good news" is out, but that's your call.

I personally wouldn't touch this.
