Hi Eric K. People who love engineering do not become managers. They become managers because they like to control people. Paul is now in a position where he doesn't have very much to control, and this is an unpleasant situation to be in for him.

We should get together our favorite posts re Paul and amass them on a new, moderated, Paul only thread.

Here's a start. My opinion of Paul hasn't changed since December:
The vast majority of Paul's posts are one liners, devoid of content. They are basically the kind of thing that you would hear from a slightly drunken upper management type at a cocktail party. They are always biased in favor of his (ex) employer, and they tend towards name calling. They certainly don't provide much in the way of useful information. #reply-12334180

Any change yet, or is he just six months more senile and a couple inches closer to the big dirt nap? We should have a pool for guessing when Paul ends up in a nursing home:
The cool thing about Paul is that he is such a potty mouth (with his Athwipe comments &c.), that as he slips into further senility he will inevitably end up as one of those gray hairs that speak nothing but random filth. Too embarrassing to show to the great grandchildren. So his kids will have him medicated. #reply-12420663
