you know, in Jubak's article, he completely misses the fact that Luminent is being ipo'd... not only that, but he states the following: <<Only 20% of MRV Communications' revenue comes from its optical products. So while the company is moving to focus on that product segment, investors can't really know what the success of that effort will be or how quickly the transition will take effect. The company is one of the few remaining independent suppliers of active components for optical networks, so it is an interesting speculative play, but the uncertainties are extremely high>> do these guys do ANY research before they open their mouths??? the word "luminent" isn't even in the article, but he is nice enough to mention the "startup" companies....
