This whole fiasco is a prime example of how the general public get screwed by the incompetent brokerage houses. After enduring the the water torture test for the last five months waiting for our PALM shares we are still waiting for settlement. I sold PALMV and COMSV and I am still waiting for Dreyfus to figure out what I did. In the meantime my proceeds are in limbo and I am unable to use the money to trade. This amounts to restraint of trade. Does anyone know of a brokerage house that understood this whole episode and handled it correctly?
