R-man RE: web speed. I've been surfing at a decent speed lately, but I think I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I slowed down to a crawl and almost stop. I found out that GTE had a problem for a couple of days on their Internet Service in my area. Maybe your provider is having problems there. Of course if a transgenic mouse got caught in your machine's cooling fan, that could be the problem.
