Dennis, the wave lengths determine the retracements.. Fib retraces of 38.2% 61.8% and 76.8% are common, traders just go by the 50% rule to get close.. The 3rd waves are the longest of the 3 down or up, as the case may be, with the 1st and 5th shorter and closer in length.. >><<
