the Liberal elite in Ottawa know what is best for us peons. The system of Oligarchy we have in Canada fits hand in glove with a company like De Beers. As for the First Nations, there is no need to reintroduce apartheid as we call their settlements "Indian Reserves" instead of "Tribal Homelands".

Not sure that I agree with that response. DeBeers arranged to get control of their black labor force by having a head tax introduced which meant that the tribesmen had to have access to cash for the first time and therefore HAD to work in the mines. Then they separated them from home and family and moved them into work camps which meant isolation and hardship. First Nations here don't even pay taxes. There's quite a difference.
