Re: Price Cut Wow!, another positive announcement, two in one day. IMO, Syquest's timing on this price cut is very good. Do it now, before turnaround expectations become unreasonable. Capitalize on the recent positive reviews in the press. Secure the 200-230 MB nitch in the removable hierarchy. Establish a foothold in case Iomega releases their ZIP 200. Prepare for the release of their new 400-560 MB drive. Not only that, it appears they are actually able to do this because of manufacturing efficiencies and cost reductions.
