The worst possible "lesson" is to sell your carefully selected winners in the real world (i.e. fundamentals essential to growth long term) as opposed to the temporary stock price emotional fluctuations to "diversify". Been there, done that. Wrong !

Not only is this against experience it is also against what G&K is.

Just to pick a specific example, there were three times in the last 10 years that the worst possible action would have been to sell Cisco to "balance" a portfolio.

Think about that when you think about the current burp in the gorillas and most solid king/princes.

Just IMO of course.

But then if your comfort level (weak) demands it, OK.
