No, I offered it for free Oh man, then you have a right to blast them! No one could ever fault the marketing machine that is MSFT. As for everybody liking ORCL and choosing them for XML apps, you have to remember that the web applications are frequently developed by very young code jockeys. I see a lot of baby designers in my work. These people tend to throw out the old solutions faster (no fear). Remember that old saying about how in order for a new technology to take over an entrenched one you have to wait for that generation to die off? This is happening at a much faster pace.
