Do you suppose the two lead underwriters were short from the moment they opened the stock? Correct me if I'm wrong, Chickie, and I don't even remember where this fragmentary memory, perhaps inaccurate, comes from, but: isn't shorting of an IPO prohibited for 30 days? Technically, they're not marginable for 30 days...
