I'm no accountant, or even close, but that seems to be talking about use of the pooling of assets method of acquiring a company - not spin-offs of a unit. It does tell us that noone can acquire MRVC and use this method right now, but it doesn't tell us anything (I don't think) about MRVC's ability to spin off LUMN and, especially the others in tax free transactions. Anyone out there know the answer - or how to find out?
