K56, does it exist yet?
Carmine asks, "Dick, why do you say "K56...when ever it finally appears"? Is it not out yet?"
Well, you can buy a client-end K56 modem, and there are supposed to be server-end modems available any day now, but Moonray has been running a rather cool thing called x2 Lead-Time-Check Clock, which continues to ask the question "Has anyone actually seen a K56 connection?"
To date, nobody has.

I know we're mostly USRX partisans here... except for a few hecklers, but still, someone ought to know if there is finally K56 stuff to compare with.
Obviously (I think), the fact that USRX has such lead time on the K56 alliance has been good for USR's sales. It was certainly mentioned in the Q2 conference call! |
