They decided to can the listing of subsidiaries which had contributed to the negative sentiment regarding the value of the parent 9984. It was a good idea to be able to spin off the outhouse toilet and the inhouse finance and human resources departments while the market was frothing at the mouth for i.net e.com regardless of whether the concept had network effects, scalability and the rest of alphabet sout going for it, but with cooling of the froth, now the spin offs are bad ideas.
