We can't even be sure if we're seeing or not seeing a gain? It could only happen in the Zone.

Sometimes when a stock declines I'll add to my position. I've been doing that with KEM. Another tactic I use occasionally, instead of averaging down, I'll average out.
By that I mean I'll buy similar companies that are in a similar predicament as the company I've originally been interested in. So for example, I own stock in a number of auto parts manufacturers (they are all beat down), a number of REITs (all in the same type of real estate, all suffering when I bought them), a number of insurance companies (the insurance cycle is at its low - I hope). My point is... maybe it's time to start buying VSH -- just to hedge the company-specific risk. I'm guessing if KEM does well, VSH will too. Any opinions here about VSH?
