Steve - Re: "Point me to an article written by Reuters, or EBN or other professional trade publications were the journalist refers to Intel's headquarters (i.e. Intel) as "satan". I can see how we here on this thread take certain liberties with names, but this is ridiculous, IMHO."

Excellent, EXCELLENT POINT !!!

Tom PabstSmear has shown himself AGAIN to be a raving lunatic.

First, if he had a problem with the 1.13 GHz P3, he should have resolved it with Intel in a professional manner - and then related that issue during a proper review once his problems were resolved.

Did he?

No.

He immediately hopped on the Internet and issued a SMEAR and BLAST campaign at Intel.

And then he expected Intel to politely CALL HIM !!

In his second article, he admits he was completley wrong about the Microcode issue he raised in the first article - again, showing himself to be a cheap opportunist looking to promote himself at Intel's expense.

Tom Pabst is as phoney as they come.

We've seen his type before - and what they try to get away with.
