Carl, Maybe those DDR chips went to server companies. DDR is planned for use in servers. Servers can support the use of more robust mother boards and slower clock rates and wider busses and registered DRAMS. No doubt a lot of them went to Graphics companies. Following on the huge success of Playstation II, I am expecting a lot of significant RDRAM graphics design wins this year. The MSFT X-Box will be far too little too late. By the way if you think DELL is coming out with a DDR desktop system this year I have a bridge I would like to sell to you. :)
