I see Kernan as the instigator.. playing stupid weird background sounds, disrupting David's reporting with cynical comments, and just plain wasting air time chattering sarcastically on trivials. Management has lost control over the program, and it is now just plain trash. I find myself having to flip channels each time Mark passes the baton to the Faber and Kernan.
