sam, there's a progression to bear markets. the first stage sees the froth removed, and that has already happened. the second stage will see the cos. with the most extreme valuations that are left at high prices after stage one getting into trouble, one by one. later, the most liquid overvalued big caps will get shot.

best look for cos. with high debt levels , questionable accounting or financial structures for stage three.

for now, check the overvalued crap in weakening sectors...simply pull up sector charts, target the weakest sectors, and the weakest stocks in those sectors.
