That's unfortunate. If he did, Intel could use a layer stripback technique, and peel the microprocessor layers back one by one, and determine what is wrong.
Of course, it's not Tom's responsibility to assist intel in finding out what's wrong, and I can understand his desire not to help, based on the personal difficulties he's had with intel in the past....
But....
I've lead quite a few mission based teams, to resolve issues and problems, and it always annoys me when I have someone on that team, that all they do is sit there, and bitch, moan, and complain, about how things are, yet when you ask them for ideas or help, they can't, or they won't.
I am always tempted to say...... "Well, if you're not willing to help make the situation better, than the LEAST you can do, is sit there, and SHUT THE HELL UP".
