David, I think we are far worse off. Maybe not financially but in every other way. The moral fiber of the country is weakened. The lesson is honor, truth and patriotism has been severely damaged. The respect for the leadership of the oval office is very smudged. The people are not protected but used. The people are not told the truth and our President has used his powers for reasons that are not honorable. Bombings to divert attention, hirings and appointments that shouldn't happen, dealing and giving our secrets to others for some unknown or known gain, making citizens of about a million people with no check just so they could vote for Clinton and Gore in 1996, and on and on. Yes, we are much worse off. We have to regain the dignity of the office and have a President who will make decisions for the good of the country and the people and not for selfish political gain.
