ok, ok...let's not let someone come on board and get everyone cranky... the bottom line is, OA can POSSIBLY be spun off tax-free to shareholders. that's yet to be determined by the irs or even mrv, for that matter.... legally, they can spin anything off they so desire. tax-free is a different issue. the question is whether or not MRV bought jolt and astro terra with the express purpose of spinning it off as a bundled company... or, whether they bought those companies to augment other technology (opti switch and fiber driver) which already produced revenue....
