All: One more thought on the LS-120. Has it occurred to anyone else that the LS-120 must be un-manufacturable AT THIS TIME?

1. Compaq/3M/MKE announced this drive a long time ago. (When exactly?)

2. They are under extreme pressure to get it out before Iomega runs up the score on them so bad that it's pointless.

3. They have announced that a laptop LS-120 will not be released until "first half 1997". (For those of you unfamiliar with computer talk that means June 1997.)

4. There are NO LS-120 drives (internal or external) available in the retail market.

Note that I am NOT saying that they cannot make the LS-120 in small volume, or that they cannot manufacture it at all. I am saying that they cannot manufacture it in volume at the necessary price point.
I.E. it is un-manufacturable at this time.
