he does not believe in a "new paradigm". He has lived through a couple of them and has studied the history of other so-called new-paradigm periods.

This period we are in will be different than any other. This is a truism that is indisputable, but it misses the point. The market has never tolerated a new-era for more than a few years and it never rewards the hubris of those who believe that "This time is different."
