now that's a kind assessment if i ever heard one.

the search capability (and i use that term quite liberally) on the si site has been a POS for so long i can't (and i doubt anyone else can) remember when it functioned right.

every time the subject comes up, some si whizbang pops out of the woodwork and shovels heaping portions of working on it blah blah blah rollout and migrate blah blah blah new features exciting changes blah blah blah

followed closely by another member asking

"What's up with the search engine?... it doesn't seem to work properly"
