Heinz, in the 20s it was assumed that the Fed could prevent panics and depressions like now. In reality, the Fed will only succed in exacerbating the adverse economic consequences ( TL & EV)which will result from the inevitable bursting of the bubble. I know you are well aware of this so my post is for the benefit of lurkers. Mike HO HO HO
