RE: "Unintended Consequences"

Interim report. I'm almost halfway thru the book (it's a big 'un), and am really impressed with it. I recommend it to any and all.

I'm a stickler for plausibility in a novel (or movie, for that matter), and this book works great -- the author seems to have the same interests as I do (guns, politics, airplanes, hunting, and homemade cars), and he knows his stuff. My only criticism is the prodigy protagonist and some of his feats as a 12 year old marksman.

You probably won't see this book in a library, and I question whether it will sell enough copies to be published in paperback, so if you're interested, you'll probably have to cough up the 20+ bucks for the hardcover thru amazon.com. IMO, you won't be sorry.
