>>>There isn't room to make a profit if you are paying licensing fees.<<<

Unless you're an OEM which thinks it can corner or gain a sizeable chunk of the market in which it competes. Are you forgetting that in this crazy-tech world, being first can be meaningful. Sometimes it can hurt you, but I still think most wanna be number one if they can be number one.

Besides, Jon. You don't yet know how clever EDIG is with regard to its ability to negotiate licensing fees. Do you? And every passing day we see more need for EDIG's type of product(s). Questions on licensing fees: Are there sliding scales measured against production or consumer purchase? Are there time limits? One-time fees? Money up front, a little down the road? Can a licensing fee to one OEM help open the door to a larger licensing fee to a larger OEM? Lotsa, lotsa questions here. And you've still gotta consider that EDIG is still in a tablesetting mode right now.

Seems to me you've gotta know some of this in order to discount EDIG's potential to earn licensing fees from OEMs. And--I'm guessing--I don't think you know that.
