Anitech Revenues Grow By 43%

TORONTO, ONTARIO--Anitech recorded net income of $87,334 on sales
of $1,052,381 for the first six months of 2000. Revenue increased
43% over the same period last year. The dramatic increase in
revenue and net income reflects the success of the Company's new
DT-500 computer hardware and software for the meat processing
industry. For the same period last year the Company's revenue was
$727,942 and first six month losses were $30,415. The Company also
realized continued growth in the number of animals being
microchipped at veterinary clinics.

Anitech's PetNet microchip ID system for pets is distributed at
80% of all Canadian veterinary clinics. With over 400,000 pets
registered with PetNet, Anitech is Canada's dominant pet ID
system. There are about 8 million pets in Canada. Anitech will
be launching an Internet e-commerce portal leveraging its large
pet database through alliances with AOL Canada Inc. and Microcell
Solutions Inc. By offering online functionality to PetNet
registrants, Anitech is positioned to become Canada's largest
Internet pet site. Anitech also offers a PetNet Visa card in an
alliance with The Royal Bank.

Anitech's Meat Technology Division sells proprietary hardware and
software that helps the meat industry trace individual carcasses
as they are being processed. Anitech's DT-500 Data Collection
System has been installed in eleven pork plants across Canada and
three beef plants have placed orders. Anitech charges ongoing
maintenance and servicing fees in addition to the system price.
Anitech's strategy is to use its Canadian base to expand into the
US, Mexico and China. The Company is also exploring opportunities
to link the DT-500 to the growing Internet livestock auction
market.
