Had money, didn't have money, then had money again, then not. Each time, reject message switched as I have indicated. Convinced me. Also, others are on record as hearing the same from an Etrade rep. I don't usually call them, because all I hear is bull. From now on, I will keep $2K free in each account, and there will be no more "We are unable to" for me. SUMMARY: "We are unable to allocate" message is used if no funds available. "Unable to allocate" message if simply not allocated, but funds were available.
