So you claimed that tons, carat values and future earnings are contradicted by the lack of a competing bid. This is a little unnerving, I agree, and you would think of selling. You also say that in the position of WK you would be waiting and watching (not presenting a competing bid at the moment). Your fear is RT has scared the potential WK's into thinking that he has 50.1% locked and the bid will fail? I am confident if that is the situation. Can't be sold out from under us, the potential bidders have time to review all the data thoroughly, there is plenty of time for RT to SELL this data to others and if we don't get "fair value", we go it alone - yes, suffering dips (buying opportunities) until we get the full realized value. Unless you plan on counting that the bid fails without competing bids, sell, and rebuy lower on the dip, I can't see the concern to sell. That would be risky IMHO, just in case a good bid comes forth, or the bulk results come due, or anything could happen before you fully reload. I'm not prepared to take that chance and would prefer to hold through any dips. I believe a WK will buy into the same value spin we are getting. I agree there is a removed sense of urgency. I would expect them to wait for more data. Where do I want to be in that case? Holding, with dry powder to take advantage of dips! Don't get me wrong, I just want to understand your concern thoroughly so I don't overlook a situation in my blinded confidence. |
