Hi richard surckla; The AMD DDR machine that was supposed to arrive on August 1, got moved up to July 26, and was made public at that time. It was the ALi chipset.

Now if ALi was Rambus they would undoubtedly issue another press release for the rumored date. But instead, they simply issued their press releases on the correct date:
ali.com.tw

I don't remember who started the Aug 1, rumor. The next announcer is supposed to be VIA.
