I had just been telling my wife about the tremendous response I was getting for the memorial fund, and how there was a real sense of SI as a community that could pitch in together, when I got a PM from the administration, in itself courteous, informing me that some people were complaining because I had sprinkled around URLs on various threads that Monica had frequented. I was trying to inform as many people as might be interested about the fund, and how to participate. Now, of course, although I am still happy that the project is going forward, I am reminded of the underside of SI, and feeling less proud of the community............
