MKC, I own MO and am doing the same strategy. I think it could see a big upside move at any time, so I don't want to be all tied down with 25's. For that same reason, I don't want to go out too far ahead. If you're taking a big position, spread out the calls over different months. It also might be worth looking at when the divs are distributed and sell calls for the month after, if you get called out at least you get the div. I sold some Aug 25's, some Aug 27.5's, and left some uncovered. I plan on just repeating this and buying back the calls as long as it doesn't get too far ahead of me. I'm also doing the same thing on two crap stocks, RMBS and INKT. The call premiums are so huge you can get 10% per month selling at the money. Of course you risk losing your ass on these techs. We'll see how this goes, it's kind of a new experiment for me also....
