What's laughable is the surplus had anything at all to do with Clinton/Gore policies. They were the ones screaming we would "starve children" if we attempted to balance the budget in 7 years, I mean 8 years, I mean 9 years, I mean 10 years. It's ludicrous to assume the budget would be anywhere near balanced if the Democrats still controlled congress. Some people need to take a good whiff of Starbucks coffee if they truly believe the Democrats wanted to balance the budget. From Tip O'(please give me more to spend) Neil, to Ted (I want all your money) Kennedy, to Hillary (I want to control health care) to Tom Foley (let's all write bogus checks at the post office) the Democrats haven't got a fiscally responsible bone in their body!
